Turn End Trust has launched its programme of events for 2016 giving visitors some wonderful opportunities to explore both Turn End house and its garden from March through to September next year.
As well as participating in the NGS Charity Open Day on 2nd May, the garden will once again provide a stunning backdrop for the Sculpture Exhibition. Now in its third year, the Exhibition will be assembled by Lendon Scantlebury and will run in conjunction with Bucks Open Studios (opening daily from Saturday 18th June to Sunday 26th June).
What’s more, 2016 marks the 50th anniversary year of Turn End and to celebrate, the Trust will be hosting a Turn End Garden Party where Turn End Friends will have the unique opportunity to visit the three houses, the garden and the two studios located within the estate. In August, a House and Garden Open Day will be a must for architect and landscape admirers, who want to step inside this award winning home. As autumn arrives, visitors will be able to enjoy a late September afternoon in Turn End garden.
Friends of Turn End will also be able to enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon in the House and Garden in March as well as Friends afternoons (on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month) from March through to October. Winter bookings, by appointment, can also be arranged for members of the Friends scheme.
