TET - Spring JournalTurn End’s garden is being used as a source of inspiration in Heather Hunter’s forthcoming art workshop ‘Spring Journal’ on Saturday 6th May from 10.00-16.00.  The workshop will take place in the Methodist Hall but will combine Turn End garden for inspiration, collecting and drawing. Heather, Turn End’s artist-in-residence, will demonstrate how to prepare a spring journal made from an old book using materials gathered.  Bookings can be made at turnendtrust.eventbrite.co.uk or by emailing turnendtrustevents@gmail.com.

Heather has contributed considerably to the Trust’s aims of both education and access.  She specialises in paper art, printing and artists’ books.  Her books have won prizes in the USA and the Birgit Skiold prize at the London Artists Book Fair 2007, and are now in private collections and libraries throughout the world. Two of Heather’s latest books are ‘Turn End Herbarium’ and ‘Turn End Reflections’ which are available to inspect and buy from Heather’s garden studio.

During the Turn End Open Garden weekend – Saturday and Sunday 17/18th June: 10.00-16.00, the studios of Heather Hunter and Paul Wilkinson will be open.  Both will continue to open for Bucks Open Studios from Monday 19th to Sunday 25th June 2017.
