On Saturday 3rd June, join Peter Aldington and other members of Turn End Trust on this rare opportunity to visit three built projects in Buckinghamshire designed by the practice Aldington, Craig and Collinge in the 1960s, 1970s & 1990s.  Tickets are £75.00 (£65.00 for Friends of Turn End).  Booking at turnendtrust.eventbrite.co.uk or by emailing turnendtrustevents@gmail.com.

Exploring three, possibly four, private houses that are not usually open to visitors, Peter will explain how the houses, designed by Peter Aldington and Paul Collinge, respond to the detailed clients’ briefs researched and written by John Craig. The projects exhibit principles for which the practice is known including open planning and the linking of

, village houses that are sympathetic to their locality yet make a striking contribution to the environment, and the simplicity, directness and honesty of building and materials.

Meet the owners and explore a garden designed by Peter Aldington around one of the houses which extends the design ethos established by the house into the garden, using hedges and walls to define areas of differing function or character.  Transport included, some walking required. Please bring your own picnic.
